Alpaca Question of the Day

Q. Were your alpacas concerned about the fog this morning? A. No. They like it. It's cool... They like to lay in snow.

Q. Do alpacas like to play in the rain? A. If it's raining real hard, they'll stay out of it. But if you spray them with a hose they'll play. I know because I was washing my daughter's car with a hose and they started coming closer... They got between me and the car.

Q. Do you name your alpacas? A. Yup.

Q. How many times a day do you feed your alpacas? A. Just grains once a day. I let them eat grass and hay whenever.

Q. Do alpacas have tails? A. Yeah. About that long *gestures*. Like a deer. Yeah, their poop pile makes it easier to clean up.

Q. Is it true that alpacas have a communal excretion pile? A. Yup. Instead of spreading it around, they all poop in one spot.
